Project Manager / Business Engineer (M/F)

In this context, we are looking for a Project Manager (Chargé d’Affaires) to act as the technical liaison for the sales department and to oversee the manufacturing of products dedicated to customer orders.
Missions

Act as the technical liaison for the sales department.

Conduct feasibility studies.
-
Request pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
-
Issue quotes for specific equipment, defining sales prices and delivery lead times.

Prepare technical documentation.
-
Assist the Production Manager during contract reviews.
-
Validate product specifications, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM) issued by the design office.

Prepare assigned customer orders.
-
Perform order reviews.
-
Create part references in the management software.
-
Transmit necessary information to the Design Engineer (for drawings) and the Workshop Manager (for manufacturing routings).

Update order tracking information in the ERP.
-
Reserve material in stock.
-
Create material reservation bins and print orders.
-
Coordinate and prioritize activities for suppliers and subcontractors.
-
Source suppliers and send requests for quotes (RFQ).
-
Select the appropriate supplier (Quality/Cost/Lead time) to guarantee project margins.

Generate purchase orders for suppliers.
-
Monitor deliveries and ensure deadlines are met.
-
Perform dimensional inspection of mechanical components based on drawings.
-
Support production during the manufacturing of products related to their projects.

Verify BOMs and release Work Orders (WO).
-
Verify and validate test reports (PV) for manufactured transducers and probes.
-
Report order progress (deadlines, margin deviations) to the Sales Representative in charge of the account.

Carry out quality improvement actions.
Secondary Missions:

Schedule tasks for production operators.

Manage internal After-Sales (SAV), RMA, and Non-Conformance (NC).

Train other Project Managers.
-
Perform Level 1 and 2 maintenance on production equipment.

Conduct technology and competitive monitoring.

Provide support to production when necessary.
Ideal Profile

Experience in project management and technical relations.
-
Ability to manage suppliers and guarantee margins.
-
Rigorous in administrative follow-up (ERP, references, stocks).
Key Skills
-
Reading technical drawings and performing dimensional inspections.
-
Proficiency in IT tools (ERP, server access, internet).
-
Knowledge of acoustic simulation software.
-
Technical validation capacity (quotes, specifications, certificates).
